Walk Off The Earth Perform Ed Sheeran Cover Using Makeshift Instruments

Who needs musical instruments when you’ve got a table full of plastic tubes and children’s toys?

That was clearly the thinking shared by the members of Walk off the Earth in this amazing video that shows them performing a cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You”, sans instruments.

Not only do they put a new spin on Sheeran, they spice things up by mashing it up with TLC’s “No Scrubs” and Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” — who could have seen that coming?

By the way, the child who makes a surprise cameo in the video at a very opportune moment is the nephew of band-member Gianni Luminati.

This isn’t the first unique cover performed by the Burlington, Ont., band, who have previously released videos in which they cover Adele, The Chainsmokers and Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know”, which has racked up a whopping 176 million views on YouTube.

Vocalist Sarah Blackwood also shared a cover of Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” featuring her adorable son, Giorgio.
