The ex-wife of Elvis Presley, Priscilla Presley, is finally speaking out over her daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s custody battle with Michael Lockwood.
It was previously reported that Priscilla’s twin granddaughters were taken into protective custody amid claims that Lockwood was collecting hundreds of “inappropriate” photos and videos of children on his computer. Priscilla, 71, took to Facebook to clear up any confusion regarding 8-year-olds Finley and Harper.
“There is lots of confusion, commotion and concern from all the talk circulating,” Priscilla wrote to a photo of the two girls in a swimming pool. “Let me put this to rest… the girls have not been in foster care and never will be. The girls have been with me and will be until all this is sorted out.”
While sharing a picture of Finley and Harper smiling and cuddling one another she wrote, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for ‘all’ your positive support.”
In court documents filed on February 7, Lisa Marie accused her ex-husband of collecting the inappropriate footage after Lockwood requested spousal support. “When I discovered the photos on [Lockwood’s] computer, and viewed the videos, I was shocked and horrified and sick to my stomach,” she claimed.
Lockwood, Lisa Marie’s husband of 10 years, is being investigated for alleged child abuse — as confirmed by the Beverly Hills Police Department in a statement to Us Weekly. His lawyer, Jeff Sturman, denied the allegations in a statement to the publication, calling the filings “very unfortunate and inappropriate.”
