It turns out two-time Oscar winner Cate Blanchett not only has terrific acting skills, but stellar lip-synching chops as well. Blanchett, 47, surprised audience members at the historic Stonewall Inn gay bar in New York City during a charity drag show benefiting victims of the Sandy Hook massacre.

Taking a break from filming the upcoming all-female “Ocean’s Eight”, the Australian actress was welcomed to the stage with a round of applause and cheers from those in attendance. Blanchett strutted around in a sexy burlesque outfit with a black blazer and plenty of lace. Long, sparkling earrings dripped from her ears.

“The Aviator” star mouthed Dusty Springfield’s version of “You Don’t Own Me” and killed it! Why Blanchett has yet to appear on “Lip Sync Battle” is anyone’s guess.
