To shed some light on the engaging star power in Quebec, Natasha Gargiulo kicked ET Canada’s “Spotlight on Quebec”; series off speaking with former pop singer Mitsou Gelinas. She talks moving on to conquer Television, Film and Radio in Quebec, since her debut 1988 hit single “Bye Bye Mon Cowboy”;.

“I was 17,”; Mitsou tells ET Canada. “We created that song, released it, and three weeks after, it was number one on every radio station in Quebec and little by little it started in Canada and in the States as well.”;

Mitsou hasn’t released a new album since 2002, but her current priorities right now are being a mother, a spokesperson for the Breast Cancer Foundation and also owning her own production company.

Asked what she hopes to mean to the province of Quebec, she says: “I hope I can be a confidante and I hope I can be a best friend.
