‘Moana’ Star Auli’i Cravalho Hit By Flag During Oscars Performance

During her performance at the Academy Awards, “Moana” star Auli’i Cravalho took a hit from one of the flags passing behind her.

The 16-year-old barely even flinched as she carried on with the rest of her performance, but that didn’t stop viewers from sharing their reactions to the moment on social media, including “Modern Family” star Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

Getting slapped by a blue flag while singing on the oscars keeps one humble.

Most of the response was in priase of Cravalho, including a tweet from actress Ming-Na Wen, who lent her voice to another Disney heroine, Mulan.
