Since leaving office, former U.S. President George W. Bush apparently hasn’t been keeping up with developments in pop culture, which viewers of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” found out firsthand when Bush appeared on the show on Thursday, revealing he doesn’t watch television.
“So you don’t know that Beyonce is pregnant?” Kimmel asked. Bush admitted he did not.

Kimmel then asked if he knew who Beyonce’s husband is. His answer, once again: “No.” The former Texas governor did know, however, that “she’s from Texas.”
Then again, Bush may have good reason for ignoring recent developments in the world of hip hop, given Kanye West’s infamous rant about the then-president during a televised benefit concert to raise money for victims of Hurricane Katrina back in 2005.

“George Bush doesn’t care about black people,” declared Yeezy, clearly going off script during the live TV broadcast while speaking to viewers alongside “Austin Powers” star Mike Myers, who is clearly taken by surprise by West’s unexpected comments before the camera quickly cuts away. Watch:
