Beyonce’s younger sister Solange Knowles married video director Alan Ferguson in a stylish New Orleans wedding over the weekend.
The 28-year-old is known for her signature style and the weekend affair did not disappoint.
Saying “I do”; at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans, the couple arrived for the 2 p.m. ceremony on white-painted bicycles with the bride’s basket filled with flowers. Knowles looked chic, breaking tradition by showing up in a cream Stéphane Rolland jumpsuit with plunging v neck and cape.

Guests, including Tina Knowles and Beyonce, were asked to dress the theme and dress in white as well. “Everyone I worked with on the wedding are friends who I love,” Solange told Vogue exclusively via email. “Everything was a labor of love.”

The bride walked down the aisle to one of the couple’s favorite songs, a symphonic instrumental of Donny Hathaway’s, “I Love the Lord, He Heard My Cry.” With performances by musician friends Kelela, Questlove, and Kindness. The festivities kicked off with an intimate pre-wedding bash on Friday night at NOLA’s Indywood Cinema.
Despite making headlines for a post Met Gala brawl in an elevator, Beyonce’s husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy were both in attendance.
Keeping with her breaking of tradition, Solange made a quick dress change for the reception and danced to “No Flex Zone”; by Rae Sremmurd with her son Daniel Julez in a custom Stephane Rolland.
