Brie Larson and January Jones have never appeared onscreen together, but the two actresses share a deep, common bond: they’re both extreme super-fans of “The Bachelor”.
During an appearance on Thursday’s night’s edition of “The Late Late Show with James Corden”, Jones discussed her obsession with the long-running dating show, which will bring its current season to a conclusion on Monday, Mar. 13/ She’s such a fan, she admitted that it’s always been her dream to be “The Bachelorette”.
“I asked my publicist, you know,” Jones revealed. “I watch the show, have a couple glasses of wine, and Ben gets kicked off and I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna be the next Bachelorette and get that guy.’”
Unfortunately, her publicist was a total buzz kill. “And then she says it would ruin my career, and I get shot down but you know that’s my dream,” said the former “Mad Men” star, later admitting she finds current Bachelor Nick Viall to be “pretty cute.”
Speaking of Nick Viall, he made a special appearance at a “Bachelor” viewing party thrown by Oscar-winner Brie Larson, who revealed how that came to happen during her Wednesday appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.
Explaining that she’s a member of “The Bachelor Fantasy League,” (modelled after sports fantasy leagues with viewers trying to predict who will receive the final rose), Larson joked that Danielle being sent home threw a wrench in her fantasy league standings.
“I don’t want to talk about it, Jimmy,” Larson joked. “I thought it was going to be Danielle till the end and I’m really upset she let me down. I want to win my bachelor league!”

As Larson explained, she and her pals hold weekly “Bachelor” viewing parties, which she says have “become infamous. A friend of a friend found out about it and [Nick Viall] showed up at one of our gatherings a couple of weeks ago. He was really cool about it, but we were all really nervous.”
Admitting she was starstruck in Viall’s presence, Larson added: “He came with his best friends so we were thought it was going to be fine. We always gather an hour before the show starts so we can catch up, drink some red wine. [Viall] came for that part and I figured he would just leave afterwards. He just stayed.”
“What a special experience that was,” quipped Kimmel before Larson unveiled the rules of her self-invented “Bachelor Bingo” game. Watch:
