Rachel Bloom has never been shy about speaking her mind, and the “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” star is maintaining that tradition with a series of Twitter posts discussing the female orgasm — and how little women are actually taught about how to achieve one during sex.
Bloom began by sharing a link to a CNN article, with the headline “Who orgasms most and least, and why,” which discusses the “orgasm gap” between men and women.
“This article doesn’t mention the clitoris until halfway down, but ALL FEMALE ORGASMS COME FROM THE CLITORIS,” Bloom said in a tweet that some may place in the TMI category.
Continuing, Bloom points out that her own sexual education was woefully lacking. “Growing up, nobody told me that most women can’t orgasm from only vaginal penetration, yet by high school I knew 20 euphemisms for fellatio,” she tweeted.
Bloom followed that up with more orgasm-related tweets, eventually responding to a tweet that she “is doing good, vital work here,” by quipping, “At the end of the day, I’m just a girl with a clitoris and a dream.”
