Congratulations are due to Dave Franco and Alison Brie, who are now husband and wife.
People reports that reps for the “Community”/”Mad Men” star and the “Neighbors” actor confirm that they have tied the knot after three years of dating, and six years after they met at a Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans back in 2011.
The couple announced their engagement in August 2015, with People confirming “that the actress’ one-of-a-kind engagement ring was the work of Southern California jewelry designer Irene Neuwirth,” described as “a rose gold sparkler set with a rose-cut diamond and a diamond pave.”
In an interview last year with the New York Post, Brie admitted that marriage was the last thing on her mind — until she met Franco.

“I never wanted to get married,” she told the Post, explaining that her parents divorced when she was five and her busy career makes it “hard to see people, hard to maintain commitments.”
In fact, Brie always felt getting married was for other people, not her. “I was just like, ‘Well, that’s not my life path, because I’m choosing this crazy lifestyle.’ And then, you know, I fell in love. So, blah blah blah, amazing. Acting is fulfilling, but it’s also not the only thing.”
What does she love most about her relationship with Franco? When they laugh together, she revealed. “You know how ‘there are no bad kissers,’ it’s just all about compatibility?” she said. “I feel the same way about a sense of humour.”
