Ryan Reynolds had audiences in stitches on Thursday as he stopped by “Good Morning America” to promote his latest drama, “Life”.
The early morning appearance saw the Vancouver native share his refreshing thoughts on parenting, and gush about his new bromance with co-star Jake Gyllenhaal. “Jake is easily the most interesting actor working in Hollywood today—definitely one of my favourites,” he said. “At the same time he’s just one of the kindest guys I’ve ever met.”
“We hang out all the time,” he continued before sharing a little-known fact that may leave him in hot water with his wife, Blake Lively. “My wife is very good at cooking, and Jake might be a little bit better. It gets very competitive.”
As the “GMA” team reacted in shock to his comment, the 40-year-old star quickly realized the error in his ways and began mapping out his gloomy future: “I’m moving out at the end of the month. I’m actually moving out right now.”
And when talk turned to Reynolds’ two daughters and his hilarious Twitter account, anchor George Stephanopoulos couldn’t help but share some of his priceless tweets, to which Reynolds replied, “I’ve always had empathy for parents, especially [while] flying and that sort of thing. I remember thinking, gawd, that’s hard, you know, because you can see they’re sweating….And I’m the same way, I would rather drink a piping hot bowl of liquid rabies than get on a plane with my two children,” Reynolds joked. “At two years old, they just have to rip all their clothes off and introduce themselves to everyone on the plane.”
