Adele Calls Out Security Guard At Concert For Telling People To Sit Down: ‘This Is A Music Show’

On her final stop in Australia for her world tour, Adele proves once again why she’s a force to be reckoned with.

The 28-year-old singer’s concerts Down Under have been nothing but great and they’ve come with hilarious antics from the singer.

Last week, Adele revealed she has a secret Twitter account she uses for “drunk tweeting.” Then, she showed up with a t-shirt gun to pump up the crowd and she also continued her tradition of bringing couples on stage to get engaged.

But most recently, the songstress scolded an Aussie security guard for trying to make fans in the crowd sit down.

An attendee caught the whole ordeal on camera:

“Excuse me sir,” Adele said in the video. “I know you work here, but can you please stop telling people to sit down? This is a music show, if people can’t see then they can stand up. And if you’re moaning about people dancing, then what the f**k did you come to a show for? If I see one more person being told to sit down, then I swear to God…”

Lesson learned, don’t tell Adele’s fans what to do.

But the Melbourne show excitement didn’t stop there, in fact, after seeing a fan crying in the audience Adele invited the man, Wade Nicholson-Doyle, on stage.

Wade had brought his partner, Chris, to the show as a birthday present. But when the singer selected the pair from the crowd, Wade got down on his knee and proposed to his partner.

Adele then hugged the happy couple and said, “I had no idea that was going to happen.”

“So that was unplanned, I had no idea there, Chris,” she said to the crowd afterwards.

She then congratulated the pair, “Thank you for coming to the show, I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for doing that, that was emotional.”
