One Direction are currently perched at the top of the Billboard 200.

1D (or is that #1D?) have bounced Taylor Swift from the peak position on the U.S. album chart, a piece of real estate Taylor had an iron grip on for three weeks thanks to her blockbuster effort 1989. Four reigns as the, um, fourth consecutive album from One Direction to debut in the #1 slot.

The latest full-length from the pop powerhouse scored over 387,000 copies sold, falling a bit below initial industry estimates of projected sales in the 420,000 range.

One Direction have also made their way into the hearts and streams of Spotify users. It’s been announced that 1D notched the largest first week streams ever in the United States with over 11.6 million streams. The group also cracked the one billion total streams barrier, which isn’t too shabby to say the least.
