Harry Styles is being rather coy on social media these days, but a new television ad is teasing something big!
A compelling, mysterious television spot aired in the U.K. on Saturday, March 25 featuring the One Direction star walking through a cloud of smoke. Set to the tune of a melodic piano instrumental, the teaser ends with a closeup shot of the singer’s eyes gazing into the camera.

The date “April 7” flashes to the audience before fading to black.
Rumours began swirling on social media, with many suggesting April 7 to be the date of Styles’ long-awaited solo debut. The chatter has since been confirmed after the singer’s official Vevo uploaded the teaser with the title “Harry Styles Ad for Debut Single – April 7th’.

The singer shared a series of blank, white images on Instagram the same day as his teaser ad — leading fans to believe something big was on the way.
It was confirmed back in June that Styles, 23, had signed a solo recording contract with Columbia record. He will now in the footprints of fellow bandmates Zayn, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson — all of whom have released successful solo works.
