Tom Allen and Spencer Kalendar are clearly big fans of the late Paul Walker and the “Fast and the Furious” franchise.

The comedians took a petition to city council in San Clemente, California on March 21 and they just had one, very simple request – a statue be erected in the late star’s honour.

They argue the monument would be a “beacon of headlights that can guide us down a dusty road” in the actor’s loving memory.

In their speeches in front of the council, the two began by greeting everyone hilariously with “what up, council?!” while dressed ridiculously, one of them even wearing a hat that said “BACON” on it. They discussed how the country is currently divided and how this statue would help.

They told the council that during these “gnarly” times we need the statue of the actor to help us to the light. Even going as far as suggesting the artist they would want to sculpt it, as well as pressing for approval as the newest installment in the franchise, “The Fate of the Furious” is hitting theatres in April.

The entire bit was a comedy routine that was pulled off incredibly well.
