Drew and Jonathan Scott tell People that beyond their popular TV show and bestselling book, their most rewarding accomplishment is the love they’ve found in their personal lives.
Jonathan says his relationship with 28-year-old girlfriend, Jacinta Kuznetsov, “is the most humbling, unexpected, fantastic place to be in my life. I’ve never been happier.”
His twin brother Drew got engaged to Linda Phan, 31, in December and shares a similar sentiment. “I’ve always been focused on work, so to have this beautiful woman in my life and knowing we’re going to get married, it’s amazing,” Drew says.
The 40-year-old Vancouver-born realtors are ridiculously close. Fans were confused when Jonathan continued to live with Drew after he moved in with his now-fiancee, Phan, in 2012. “People were always like, ‘Isn’t that weird?’ But there’s an ease to it,” says Phan. “You wake up and you go to work. It’s nice and really convenient to be able to have meetings with the people you live with.”
And although the brothers have since moved into separate properties with their significant others, they still own a home in Las Vegas which acts as a family compound. And it may soon come in handy for the Canadian twins. “I’m definitely looking forward to having kids,” says Drew. “Linda and I have talked about it and we’ve considered adopting.”
Jonathan adds how he loves kids: “I get along great with kids. Plus, I’m very immature, so that helps.”
Just because they have found love, don’t expect the two brothers to slow down in their pursuit to happiness. “If I had to picture what a joyous life is, it would be working with my family [and] having a beautiful partner who supports me and has her own passions,” says Jonathan. “This is it,” adds Drew. “This is happiness.”
