Multiple sources are confirming that actor Adam Pally was arrested in New York City on Tuesday evening after police officers witnessed him smoking marijuana from an e-cigarette outside a building in NYC’s Hell’s Kitchen neighbourhood, with TMZ the first to report the story.
According to TMZ, officers who passed by smelled the unmistakable scent of weed and searched Pally, currently starring in Fox comedy “Making History” and also known for roles in “The Mindy Project” and “Happy Endings”.
After patting him down, cops discovered a baggie containing a small amount of cocaine, and arrested him at approximately 10:46 p.m. Tuesday night. Pally was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and criminal possession of marijuana, and was released after being booked.
Pally is required to appear in front of a judge within 30 days, a source tells Variety, which has reached out to a rep for the actor but has yet to receive a response.
