There’s a world-changing scientific discovery on the horizon that will forever alter the planet, and the person responsible is… Paris Hilton?
That’s the premise of a YouTube video released on Apr. 1 in which the hotel heiress/reality TV star announces Nano Drop water, created through a process that condenses sparkling water to create a scientifically engineered liquid that is 5,000 times more hydrating that regular H2O — a single drop, in fact, can provide all the hydration required by the human body.

The ramifications are, to quote Hilton, huuuge: far fewer water bottles required, meaning less pollution, among other things.
As the video progresses, however, Hilton admits there were some problems and — whoops! – Nano Drop is actually not 5,000 times more hydrating than actual water after all, and is only as hydrating as regular water in what turns out to be an April Fools’ Day prank for the fizzy water device Soda Stream.
