Colin Egglesfield Takes a Walk On the Edge

Colin Egglesfield isn’t afraid of much! The hunky actor shows more than a little skin alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt in the steamy new Lifetime Canada show The Client List. Plus, he’s also rumoured to be in the running for the role of Christian Grey in the film adaptation of 50 Shades of Grey.

But ET Canada found out he is afraid of one thing… heights! So, we invited the primetime star to take us to the top of the CN Tower on EdgeWalk!

Now this isn’t your average activity – EdgeWalk takes thrill seekers 116 storeys above bustling downtown Toronto to take a walk outside the top of the iconic landmark! Prior to the walk, Colin was visibly excited and slightly nervous: “Hopefully I don’t throw up because I’m terrified of heights, but it’s not very often I make it to Toronto. And when I heard about this… I was like, “I got to do this thing while I’m here!'”

After gearing up and getting a few tips – Colin was ready to face his fears – and before he knew it, he was outside! Recalling his first steps: “When you go out there it is just such an unnatural feeling to be looking down and you know you’re harnessed in. And you think you’re going to be safe. And they’re like “go on,’ and your brain is telling your legs to move, and they just won’t move!”

But somehow Colin found the nerve to step out on the edge and even leaned out 365 metres above the city!

Once back on the ground, he admitted: “I definitely could have used a drink before I got up there!… [But] oh my god… it was incredible! It was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done!… Thank you ET Canada!”
