Barbara Walters’ annual special, The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014, doesn’t air until this Sunday, but we’ve already been given a sample of what’s to come.
The media icon interviews Scarlett Johansson — a.k.a. one of the 10 fascinating folks — about her new life as a mother. And you’ll be happy to know things couldn’t be better.
“It’s wonderful. It’s very, very magical — and exhausting,” the actress says of raising daughter Rose Dorothy, who was born in September. “The love is just unbelievable. It’s very overwhelming.”
In fact, she doesn’t even mind the less-than-appealing elements of newfound motherhood: those dirty diapers and 3am feedings. “[I do] the whole bit,” she tells Barbara. “I’m nursing and I love it.”
Mind you, the 30-year-old admits there is an added upside to breastfeeding: “It’s the best way to get back in shape,” she says.
