After six years of marriage David Schwimmer, 50, and wife Zoe Buckman, 31, are taking “some time apart.”
“It is with great love, respect and friendship that we have decided to take some time apart while we determine the future of our relationship,” the couple said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight. “Our priority is, of course, out daughter’s happiness and wellbeing during this challenging time, and so we ask for your support and respect for our privacy was we continue to raise her together and navigate this new chapter for our family.”
The “Friends” alum and the British photographer married in June 2010 after dating for three years. The pair met when Schwimmer directed the romantic comedy “Run in London” in 2007, Buckman then relocated to Los Angeles to be with the actor.
“The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” star often kept his relationship with Buckman private, but admitted how difficult he finds it keeping a relationship in the public eye.
Their last public event together was in October 2016 at the opening night of “The Front Page” in New York City.
The couple share daughter Cleo, 5.
