Busy Philipps had a bizarre experience in an Uber Saturday night, and took to social media to post a video detailing the “freaking creepy” experience she and her husband, Mark Silverstein, had with an Uber driver.

“I was almost murdered by a random dude in an Uber,” Philipps said in the video, filmed while she was riding in a Lyft after managing to escape her Uber ride.

“The craziest thing just happened to me and I feel like I need to share it with you. I tried to call an Uber with my husband,” she explained. “We got into this Uber. The guy was really weird. I said to my husband ‘That guy was weird, are you sure he’s not going to kill us?’ And from the back this voice is like, ‘I promise that won’t happen.’ And there was this scary dude in the way back of this Uber.”

Feeling immediately terrified, Philipps says she began to yelling at the driver and the random passenger.

“I was like, ‘No, that’s not happening. I won’t be killed tonight,'” she said. “I started screaming at this freaking creepy Uber driver. I started screaming; ‘I will not be killed today!’ I legitimately was screaming.”

Silverstein added: “It was the weirdest thing that ever happened. You were like, ‘We’re going to die in this Uber.'”

One one point, Philipps told the driver that they were parents, which did not make things better. “That’s the worst part,” she added. “He was like, ‘They’re parents, we shouldn’t kill them.’ It was so terrible.”

Finally, the couple exited the car and managed to make it home safely, and theorized that perhaps the situation occurred because the driver received two calls at once.

“That’s why there was a weirdo in the back,” she said, adding: “I like my theory better that there were just guys trying to kill us.”

Philipps can be seen laughing hysterically as she declared, “I’m not trying to be alarmist but I definitely feel like those guys were trying to murder me tonight. I legitimately feel that way. It was really scary,” she said.

“I’m done with Uber,” added Philipps. “Never again.”
