Amy Schumer is not here for your body-shaming. The actress and comedian was clearly feeling herself this weekend and posted several bikini-clad personal photos to Instagram.
The 35-year-old, who appears on the May cover of In Style magazine’s Beauty Issue in a white one-piece swimsuit, posted eight pics to her Instagram Story featuring her in various bikinis doing everything from paddle boarding, to jumping for joy, hanging out on a boat and strolling along the beach. The outspoken funny woman wrapped up the series by saying,”I feel great. No haters can f with my baseline.”
No word if the photo series was a clap back to one hater in particular who posted a nasty comment on In Style’s Instagram post featuring Schumer’s cover. A swimwear designer slammed the magazine’s choice of cover girl, saying, “not everyone should be in a swimsuit” following it up with a vomit emoticon.
Clearly Schumer disagrees, and thinks she very much does belong in a swimsuit. The Emmy-winner has long been an advocate for confidence and body positivity, most recently telling In Style she’s content with her looks saying, “I’m good-looking enough that I can work in the business. I get enough attention from men that I feel good.”
Keep on rocking those swimsuits, Amy! And we won’t call you “brave” for doing so because we know from your most recent Netflix special that you hate that.
