Robert Pattinson Would Be ‘Curious’ To Reprise His ‘Twilight’ Role: ‘There Could Be Some Radical Way Of Doing It’

Currently in the midst of a promotional blitz for his latest film, “The Lost City of Z”, Robert Pattinson discussed a previous role that “Twilight” fans are praying he might someday reprise.

During an interview with Yahoo, Pattinson addressed the fanged elephant in the room when asked if he would ever portray Edward Cullen again if there were to be a potential reboot.

“Really, they’re expanding it?” noted Pattinson of the news that the “Twilight” cinematic universe could be expanding. “So I’ll get my own spin-off?” he added with a laugh.

“Potentially!” responded the interviewer. “It could be called ‘Edward: Homecoming’.” Said Pattinson: “Yeah, exactly.”

But seriously: would Pattinson actually return to the role if there was an opportunity to revive “Twilight”?

“I mean, I’m always kind of curious,” admitted Pattinson. “Anything where there’s a mass audience — or seemingly an audience for it — I always like the idea of subverting people’s expectations. So there could be some radical way of doing it, which could be quite fun. It’s always difficult when there’s no source material. But, yeah, I’m always curious.”
