Tonight, ET Canada counts down the biggest celebrities, movies and music acts of the year!

Our star-packed list also includes a rock star royal- Prince George! “The tour Down Under was a game changer for our little George,”; says Hello! Canada’s Editor-in-Chief, Alison Eastwood and, of course, she’s right. G’s visit to Australia and New Zealand in April, his first official trip, made him an internet sensation and we never looked at a bilby the same way again. Well, actually, a lot of Canadians probably didn’t know what a bilby even was before Prince George came along!

Celebrity weddings were another big entertainment newsmaker in 2014. From George and Amal to Brad and Angie- Hollywood’s biggest names were tying the knot!

On the big screen, Guardians of the Galaxy was crowned the winner of this year’s box office, while Matthew McConaughey topped off his so-called “McConaissance”; with an Academy Award. “; I’ve been doing some work that I’ve been really enjoying,”; Matthew tells ET Canada, “(but) none of the results feel like a destination so-to-speak. None of it feels like, “Ahhh, I’ve made it.’ “

Also making huge waves in film was Lupita N’yongo. Like Matthew, she kicked off 2014 as an Oscar winner. Immediately after winning the Academy Award, Lupita told the media gathered backstage, “; What I have learned for myself is that I don’t have to be anybody else and that myself is good enough; and that when I am being true to that self, then I can do — I can avail myself to extraordinary things.”;

When it comes to music, no one has had a bigger year than Taylor Swift, who made her official entry into pop with the release of her fifth studio album, 1989. “; Out of respect for country music, I wanted to just call it what it is and be very honest and up front about it,”; Taylor told ET Canada’s Cheryl Hickey. “I think if you respect somebody, you should be honest with them, and I really do respect that entire music community.”;

But will Taylor top our list? Tune-in to ET Canada tonight at 7:30 pm ET on Global.
