With hit shows like “Scandal” and “Grey’s Anatomy” under her belt, show creator Shonda Rhimes has conquered TV. Now, Rhimes’ new lifestyle website has landed – Shondaland.com.
The site is coming soon and “badasses everywhere” can currently sign up to join ahead of the official launch: “You are never alone in Shondaland. It’s where all the badasses live. The ones who stand up for themselves. The ones who do what they want and say what they want and dance how they want and wear what they want. And you don’t give a crap what anyone else has to say about it. Shondaland is for the warrior in all of us. Shondaland is for the mighty, the competitive, the smart, the daring, and the bold. Add your voice. Join the tribe.”
Watch out Gwyneth Paltrow – Rhimes’ new online community is going to cover everything from politics, health, style, pop culture to other issues for women and all readers.
In addition to articles, Shondaland.com will also feature podcasts and video updates. Jennifer Romolini, the former editor-in-chief for HelloGiggles, will oversee Shondaland’s content.
The site will debut in fall 2017 when Rhimes’ shows like “How To Get Away With Murder” return for all-new seasons.
In May, the site will start sending out newsletters to those who subscribe.
