Kim Kardashian’s latest “Kimoji” has just been released, and some fans are outraged by what they see as disrespect toward the Catholic Church and its beliefs.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star typically doesn’t wade into the often-turbulent waters of religion, but a post on her Kimoji Instagram page has resulted in some Kardashian “kontroversy.”
Depicting herself as the Virgin Mary, the Instagram post had no caption, just a link to the Kimoji website.
Many fans were taken aback. “This is so pathetic, this is so disrespectful,” read one comment, while others bashed the depiction as “offensive” and, according to one Spanish-speaking commenter, “estupido.”
However, it looks like not all her fans are all that outraged, judging by the brisk sales she says she’s seen with her Virgin Mary-inspired candle (although, judging by the comments, there’s still plenty of outrage to go around).
That wasn’t the only edgy Kimoji released today, with others including a replica of Kardashian’s iconic derriere and a special rolling-paper tribute to weed-friendly “420 day.”
