Prince’s Life And Legacy Celebrated At The Singer’s Paisley Park On Anniversary Of His Death

Celebration 2017 kicked off on Friday, the one-year anniversary of Prince’s death, at the legendary musician’s Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minnesota.

The four-day celebration will honour the musician’s life and iconic career. The event, which includes live music, discussions, inside stories and other surprises, is being held at the singer’s historic recording space.

The weekend will commemorate the singer’s talent, historic impact on music, his career as a filmmaker and the legacy he left behind.

Prince died suddenly on April 21, 2016, and the world has mourned the loss of the legend ever since.

There will also be a slew of special guests at the four-day long event, including some of Prince’s musical collaborators and some of his close friends.

On Friday, the celebratory event includes a discussion panel and performance by The Revolution, Prince’s backup band. The band appeared alongside the singer in “Purple Rain”. Sunday will feature 3RDEYEGIRl and NPG, the singer’s other bands.
