Scott Baio pays tribute to his “Happy Days” co-star Erin Moran.
Moran was found dead at the young age of 56 on Saturday, April 22. Her ex-boyfriend Baio, also 56, remembered Moran fondly on Facebook. “May people remember Erin for her contagious smile, warm heart, and animal loving soul,” he wrote. “I always hoped she could find peace in her life. God has you now, Erin.”
The actor shared the message on Twitter as well, sending his “sincere condolences” to Moran’s loved ones.
The “Happy Days” stars first worked together in the late 1970s on the popular sitcom. They reprised their roles in the short-lived spin-off “Joanie Loves Chachi”, which aired from March 1982 to May 1983.
In 2007, Baio claimed that he lost his virginity to Moran when they were teens. He made the revelation on his reality TV series, “Scott Baio is 45 … and Single”.
