The fall season is TV’s Christmas – a time for networks to give in a big way! On Global, that means HUGE guest stars on HUGE shows.

Glee is going to be a non-stop parade of stars when it returns September 13. Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker have both signed on and Whoopi Goldberg will reprise her role. Plus, the show will cover Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit, “Call Me Maybe”;. Will it outdo Jimmy Fallon’s rendition? Or the Harvard baseball team? We’ll have to wait and see.

The Simpsons is getting some major star power too. The longest-running scripted show in TV history is keeping things fresh with guest stars that include Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Zooey Deschanel, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Edward Norton and Steve Carrell. Justin Bieber has also been cast. He’ll be in the show’s season premiere, airing September 3. Simpsons producer, Al Jean says Bieber “tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won’t admit him.”; Justin is pretty pumped about the episode, tweeting, “Just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!! #swaggy.”; Swaggy, indeed.

On The Good Wife, returning September 30, Kristin Chenoweth will appear as a smart and savvy political reporter. The actress’ multi-episode arc, though, has been cut short due to injuries she sustained from falling lighting equipment on the set of the legal drama. Thankfully, The Good Wife“s other guest stars weren’t injured in the line of duty and are set to appear as scheduled. Nathan Lane will guest as a bottom line-obsessed manager who’s been hired by the bank to get the firm back to fiscal health. Amanda Peet will play a military lawyer who hires Alicia, played by Julianna Margulies, to help her sue a contract worker for attempted sexual assault.

But everyone is asking “will Matthew Perry reprise his Good Wife character?’ He made his debut last season and was going to return in Season 4 for nine or 10 episodes, but now that he’s headlining another Global show, Go On, he’ll only be able to make a couple of Good Wife appearances. Matthew says, “I wish I could do both shows, but you just can’t. So far, the two episodes they’ve given me are some of the best writing I’ve encountered.”;

NCIS: Los Angeles, though, is taking the entire guest appearance thing to a whole new level! The show will feature four of the cast members’ moms! LL Cool J, Chris O’Donnell, Eric Christian Olsen and Daniela Ruah will have their moms on set playing a group of ladies gambling at a casino. It’s always a risk casting non-actors, but it seems to have worked in this case. Writer and producer Dave Kalstein tweeted: “The NCIS: LA moms just killed it on their first take. Very cool to see.”; And viewers will get to see it themselves on the new season’s third episode. Mamma mia!

Plus, Cheryl Hickey takes us to the set of one of this fall’s hottest shows, “Chicago Fire”;, with Part 2 of her tour airing on tonight’s show! Watch Part 1 below.
