“Four scholarships will be awarded, one per college, to female incoming, current, or graduate students pursuing studies in creative arts, music, literature or African-American studies,” reads the announcement. Boston’s Berklee College of Music, Washington, D.C.’s Howard University, New York’s Parsons School of Design, and Atlanta’s Spelman College are the institutions participating in the programme.

This isn’t the only way Queen Bey is celebrating the album’s anniversary – the 20-time Grammy Award winner recently won a prestigious Peabody Award for her groundbreaking work, the ceremony for which will take place in New York City on May 20.
