While White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer would likely disagree, there are many Americans who feel President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office have been an unmitigated disaster, what with the botched travel ban, aborted health care bill and that whole teetering-on-the-edge-of-nuclear-war-with-North-Korea thing.
Leave it to the geniuses at “The Simpsons” to see the funnier side of the “horrible hundred” in this new animated spoof mocking the Trump presidency so far.
Highlights include Spicer hanging from a noose, with a note reading “I Quit” pinned to his lapel, while feuding advisers Jared Kushner and Steve Bannon throttle each other, Bart and Homer-style.
“A hundred days in office, so many accomplishments,” boasts Trump to himself as he sits in bed. “Lowered my golf handicap, increased my Twitter followers by 700, and finally we can shoot hibernating bears — my boys will love that!”
Trump’s round of patting himself on the back is interrupted when an aide brings him a huge piece of legislation to read. Whines Trump: “Can’t Fox News read it and I’ll watch what they say?”
You can watch the entire thing above; “The Simpsons” returns to Global on Sunday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT.
