Riders at Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction witnessed a truly magic moment at “The Happiest Place on Earth”.
Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, on Wednesday, April 26. The three-time Oscar nominee snuck his way on board the popular amusement park ride and camouflaged himself among the attraction’s many animatronic puppets.

Dressed as Jack Sparrow, Depp surprised and thrilled dozens of passengers as they passed by on small boats. “Everyone was surprised, shocked and excited to see him,” a witnessed told E! News. “He acted exactly like his character in the movies.”
Another rider told the outlet, “It was a surreal moment for everyone on our boat! Crazy experience. Best Disneyland experience our family has ever been a part of.”

Videos published on Twitter show the 53-year-old actor repeating famous lines from his films and interacting with Disneyland guests.
The epic publicity stunt precedes the highly anticipated fifth instalment of the swashbuckling franchise, “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”. The film rides into theatres on May 11.
