Bella Hadid Apologizes For Fyre Festival Shenanigans

Bella Hadid feels bad for everyone involved in the failed Fyre Festival: both organizers and ticket buyers.

Hadid, 20, was one of the many social media influencers to promote what promised to be a one-of-a-kind, luxury music festival. Fingers pointed in every direction after the festival failed to deliver on its big promises and postponed the show indefinitely.

“I initially trusted this would be an amazing and memorable experience for all of us, which is why I agreed to do one promotion… not knowing about the disaster that was to come,” Hadid shared on Twitter.

She said she feels “so sorry and badly because this is something I couldn’t stand by,” but insists “if I would have known about the outcome, you would have all known too.”

Despite the disaster, the fashion model doesn’t blame the show’s organizers: “They truly wanted all of us to have the time of our lives.”

Fyre Festival boasted an all-star lineup, food prepared by celebrity chefs and even a yacht with tickets ranging between $1,500 and $12,000.
