Kelly Ripa Teases New ‘Live’ Co-Host With Mystery Mug

What does Kelly Ripa have in store for “Live” fans on Monday?

After nearly a year of anticipation, Ripa teased that the search for a new co-host may finally be over. “Tune in tomorrow,” Ripa said in a Twitter video on Sunday, April 30 while holding a mug sporting a large question mark. “Trust me!”

“We’re going to need a bigger mug,” she captioned the tweet along with the hashtags “#TuneInToLive”, “#BigAnnouncement” and “#LiveKellyCohost“.

Ripa, 46, has been working with a rotating panel of guest hosts ever since Michael Strahan made his departure from the show in Spring 2016. Some top contenders vying for a permanent position on the show include Jerry O’Connell and Fred Savage.

The guest host format also introduced the world to fan favourite high school teacher Richard Curtis.

If Ripa’s hints are anything to go off of, “Live” may introduce a permanent host on Monday’s episode.
