We all remember the classic movie 12 Monkeys with Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis. Well, it’s back, but it in a new form, a tv series. But don’t expect it to be exactly the same as the film. We went down to visit the set to find out just what’s going on.

“It’s a time travel show first and foremost and my character begins in the future… I’m going back to the past,”; says Aaron Stanford, called upon to play Bruce Willis’s role.

Playing Madeleine Stowe’s character is Amanda Schull, who was careful how she prepared for the show. “I specifically chose not to rewatch [the movie] before we shot the pilot. I didn’t want to mimic anything Madeleine Stowe did.

To fill the big shoes left by Brad Pitt in his Oscar-nominated portrayal of psych patient Jeffrey Goines, producers turned “Jeffrey’ into “Jennifer’, casting Canadian Emily Hampshire, who took a similar route of preparation as her co-star. “I didn’t watch the movie,”; she disclosed. “I just decided to focus on reading the script and going in for my audition.”;
