TMZ has released security video (below) that shows Jamie Lynn Spears grabbing a knife after a fight broke out at a Hammond, Louisiana restaurant last month.
The incident occurred at Pita Pit shortly after 2am on the morning of December 28. “A group of males got into an altercation and for some reason Jamie Lynn Spears ran behind the counter and picked up a bread knife,”; owner Jack Brighenti explained to People magazine. “I have been with The Pita Pit for several years, and have never seen anything like this before.”;
He added, “Our management called the police immediately and thankfully nothing else happened.”;
Mind you, that may have something to do with Jamie Lynn’s decision to wave the knife at the offending parties, a move that appeared to have broken up the fight. So far her rep has yet to comment on the scuffle.
The younger sister of pop star Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn is a singer and former child actor.
