Emmanuelle Chriqui’s Dysfunctional Family

By ETCanada.com Staff.

Emmanuelle Chriqui has traded in her “Entourage” for another dysfunctional family in her new movie “The Steps”.

The film centres around family dynamics that almost everyone can relate to – with Emmanuelle playing an American in the film…and having to go up against all those Canadian stereotypes: “She’s like a stylist from New York. She has a too cool for school vibe about her. Especially in contrast to the step brothers and sisters that are Canadian. They are so polar opposite.”;

ET Canada caught up with her in Parry Sound, Ontario while filming: “We are all here for an interesting family gathering. Meeting  “the Steps’ for the first time.”;

Yes, just imagine being stuck in a cottage with your father’s new family and having nowhere to go…and as co-star Jason Ritter tells us, no cell reception! “I think the one thing that adds to his panic is that he can’t get in touch with anybody from the outside world. So it sort of forces him to deal with all of these things that he would rather be distracted from.”;

Speaking of which, Emmanuelle’s next role continues that trend, she’ll next be seen in National Geographic  Channel’s miniseries “Killing Jesus”; based on the book by Bill O’Reilly, playing Queen Herodia. “In history she was one of the most disliked Queens in history!”;
