While she may have been in shock at the time, Zoe Saldana confirms she’s not mad at Britney Spears for accidentally spilling the beans on her pregnancy in 2014.

During an appearance on “What What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Thursday to promote her new sci-fi sequel, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”, the 38-year-old actress, who starred next to Spears in the 2002 drama “Crossroads”, reveals that Spears wasn’t to blame for disclosing the actress’s pregnancy at the time.

“It’s really true,” Saldana says when questioned by a caller. “But, literally the way that it happened was so innocent that I never even thought of holding her accountable to anything. We were on the same flight from L.A. to New York, and we just talked for the duration of the flight. She has two boys. I was having twins. We had such a beautiful talk and I forgot.”

She explains, “It never occurred to me not to say anything because we weren’t trying to hide it. We were just trying to be discreet. And then when she disclosed it, she was just being Britney. But, I don’t mean that in a negative way. I mean that in the way that she lives her life in truth. I was shocked because we weren’t ready to sort of share that, but it was Britney so it was okay.”

During the interview Saldana also speaks about James Cameron’s “Avatar” sequel, set to be released in 2020. “It’s going to be dramatic. It’s going to be super big,” the actress reveals of the production, which begins shooting this summer. “The humans are not going to let go of Pandora that easily because their money and the greed lies in the benefits that they get from Pandora.”
