Kanye West fans were ecstatic when the rapper joined Instagram this past September, but it seems the party was to be short-lived.
On Friday afternoon, a search for West’s official social media handles results in the errors: “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!” on Twitter and “Sorry, this page isn’t available” on Instagram.
The “Famous” star has kept a low-profile since cancelling his Saint Pablo Tour and being committed to UCLA Medical Center with hallucinations and paranoia last year.
This isn’t the first time West’s social media accounts have been deactivated. He briefly disappeared from Twitter back in August 2016, but that incident was later revealed to be an error.
It remains to be seen if the accounts have in fact been deactivated in error yet again.
Twitter has, somewhat unexpectedly, reacted to the news with many a meme.
