Chris Pine Gets Trekky, ‘Where In The World Is’ Kellyanne Conway And More ‘SNL’ Highlights!

New age “Star Trek” star Chris Pine beamed his way onto the “Saturday Night Live” stage to host this week’s episode of the long-running sketch comedy show.

The evening kicked off with a “Morning Joe” parody and the now publicized romance of anchors Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough. The fiery scene even features a call-in from the President of the United States Alec Baldwin — ahem, Donald Trump.

“SNL” has a knack for poking fun at their hosts’ history, so it should come as no surprise that Pine was tasked with (sort of) reprising his role as Captain Kirk for a “Star Trek” sketch. The catch? Pine puts on a very William Shatner-esque performance in a “lost” 81st episode of “The Original Series” called “Spock’s Secret.”

Pine shows off his classical musical pipes in a friendly evening of “Game Night” that takes a confusing, misleading turn.

The cast of “SNL” put a hilarious, naive spin on Hulu’s new series “The Handmaid’s Tale”. Point is, men are clueless.

It was recently announced that Netflix is working on a “Carmen Sandiego” reboot, but “SNL” is asking the important questions. Mainly, “Where in the World is” Trump’s surprisingly absent aide KellyAnne Conway.

“The House” is the parody everyone needs to see on reality television shows from “Big Brother” to “The Real World”. It has all the classic tropes: long, lingering staredowns, tense music, pointless arguments over the tiniest things and of course a lot of behind-the-back trash talk.

And it wouldn’t be a Saturday night on Global without a “Weekend Update”. This week’s M.V.P is arguably Vanessa Bayer, whose throwback, gibberish-filled, double-talk comedy depicts exactly what everyone hears when they listen to a meteorologist.

A “SWAT Recon” team is at a loss for words when they spot two grown men having a totally innocent, cotton candy dance party and a “tongue in cheek backpack fashion show.”

Hip hop fans, prepare to be both amused and offended by the world’s worst “World Peace Rap”. Chances are this video will insight a riot, not mutual understanding.

“Saturday Night Live” returns on Saturday May 13 with host Melissa McCarthy and musical guest Halm at 8:30 p.m. PT, 11:30 p.m. ET on Global; you can also watch full episodes and individual sketches online.
