First, there was Chicago Fire, then came Chicago PD. Now it looks like another show situated the Windy City is on the horizon.
For Chicago Fire star Eamonn Walker, the expansion of the “Chicago’ world just makes sense. “We’re in the hospital a lot,”; he points out. “When we save you, where do we take you? Chicago Med!”;
The original shows have already bled the lines separating their shows with last season’s crossover spectacular. More than a mere ratings stunt, the blending of the shows’ two worlds works.
“We can do more crossovers,”; Fire star Jesse Spencer notes. “It’s already working. There’s some great stuff with PD. These relationships are really working. I mean those 3 working together seem biotic. I think it would be fantastic.”;
Still going strong is The Blacklist, which gets the coveted post-Super Bowl timeslot on February 1st. So, you can follow the Big Game with a Big Episode, according to star Ryan Eggold.
“It’s gonna be big obviously. If it’s coming after the Super Bowl, we’re just gonna do everything that we usually do but just pump it full of steroids.”;
