Demi Lovato and Guilherme Vasconcelos’ have reportedly tapped out on their relationship.
A source told E! News that Lovato, 24, called it quits with the MMA fighter known as “Bomba” a few weeks ago. “She broke it off with him,”the source said. A second insider told the outlet there is no “bad blood” between the former couple and they just recognized they were “not meant to be a couple.”
The “Confident” singer and Vasconcelos, 31, first linked up in July of last year, one month after Lovato split from her boyfriend of six years, Wilmer Valderrama. A source told People “it wasn’t a dramatic split” and that “’Bomba’ is a good guy, but the relationship just ran its course.”
This isn’t the first time Lovato has dated an MMA fighter. When she and “Bomba” briefly split in late 2016, Lovato linked up with former UFC Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold before rekindling her romance with Vasconcelos. She has since deleted all photos of Vasconcelos from her social media.
And Lovato has even more connections to the MMA world. Her fellow Disney star and frequent collaborator, Nick Jonas, has friends in the fight community and stars on the MMA drama “Kingdom”.
Lovato announced Monday she is joining forces with Fabletics, Kate Hudson’s athletic attire company, for a capsule collection (embed tweet).
The Grammy-nominee also recently revealed she was releasing a YouTube-exclusive documentary about her music.
