Hello! Canada magazine has released its annual 50 Most Beautiful Canadians list for 2017, including shining stars Celine Dion and Ryan Gosling.
With a successful Las Vegas residency and an upcoming European summer tour, Dion tells the magazine that despite all of her musical success, what makes the singer “most proud is to be a mother.” The mom-of-three says, “I have the love of my children. I have the love of my fans. I love the people that I work with. So my life is not empty of love.”

Similarly, for “golden boy” Gosling, who scored his first-ever Golden Globe for “La La Land” this year, it’s his family who is also the dream. “Eva’s the dream mother, and [my kids are] dream babies, and it’s like a dream that I’m having right now,” the “Blade Runner 2049” star tells the magazine. “I’m dreaming it all. So I feel so lucky.”
Included among the 50 beautiful men and women is rising star Ruth B. Born in Edmonton, the 21-year-old singer, who won the 2017 Juno Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, tells the magazine, “I feel the most confident when I’m at a keyboard, singing my songs and sharing my stories.”
The list also embraces Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, and his wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau. The PM, who has often been described as one of the most “dreamy” political leaders, reminisces about his first date with Sophie: “I said, ‘Well, it’s about time you arrived. It’s been 32 years and I was beginning to think you would never show up.'”
