At any awards show there are always those chance things that happen that get social media talking. Jennifer Lawrence took a tumble up the stairs at the 2014 Academy Awards, another Jennifer (Aniston) was the feature of gifs when she smacked friend Kate Hudson’s derriere on the red carpet at this year’s Golden Globes and how could we forget the continuation of our favourite awards season tradition – the Cumberbomb?
This year’s Screen Actor Guild Awards red carpet was no different, playing host to a variety of gif-able moments and we’re counting down our top five here.
Aniston got fans a-Twitter when the A-list actress politely turned down the mani cam. “No, thank you,” said Aniston.

Instead, Aniston, who looked beautiful in a deep v vintage Galliano gown opened up about the drama behind her nominated role in Cake as well as her Hudson butt-grab.
“I should have known better, poor thing!” she said of Hudson. “It was irresistible!”
Aniston wasn’t the only actress to turn down the mani cam, Julianne Moore and Reese Witherspoon both opted out, prompting more than a couple tweets using the hashtag #AskHerMore – a public demand to ask actresses substantial questions on the red carpet founded by The Representation Project, Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls.

Denied mani cams weren’t the only thing making news on the red carpet – Zach Galifianakis debuted a much slimmer look and one of our favourite hair trends, the man bun as he accepted The Actor for Outstanding Ensemble Cast alongside his co-stars from Birdman.
The actor, who shaved his signature beard for the evening, also stole the spotlight during his LOL-worthy one-liner acceptance speech. Watch below!
Did you catch that? That’s right, Galifianakis’ co-star Naomi Watts had her own gasp moment during the Awards gala, but probably not the kind she’s a fan of.

Taking to the stage with the rest of her cast, Watts answered gif creators’ prayers when she tripped on Emma Stone’s black silk chiffon Dior Couture gown making her way to the microphone.
While the cast of Birdman were tripping each other on stage – whether it be physically or in a gut-busting way – Meryl Streep was having a grand ol’ time, keeping everyone in stitches with her outrageous laugh.
JustJared caught the moment on their Instagram showing a visibly delighted Streep laughing after a clip from How To Catch A Murder played as Viola Davis was announced as a nominee.

And speaking of Meryl Streep, the legendary actress, who was sitting with Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Viola Davis, had a particular West Hollywood girl in attendance at one the night’s most coveted tables.
Gabrielle Carteris, best known as Andrea from Beverly Hills, 90210 had everyone asking “how’d she do that?”; snagging a spot at Streep’s table.
The odd seating arrangement was revealed toward the end of the show as Carteris, 54, clapped along as Aniston was announced in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role category for her role in Cake. Turns out, Carteris is the Executive Vice President of SAG.
