Jenna Dewan Tatum Reveals That, Yes, She Dated Justin Timberlake; No, That Britney-Justin Dance-Off Never Happened

During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on Sunday, Jenna Dewan Tatum revealed she had a short-lived romance with Justin Timberlake for whom she served as a backup dancer.

“We were, like, friends that then dated and we’re just really good friends now,” the “World of Dance” host admitted. She said they didn’t date too long and it happened following Timberlake’s breakup with Britney Spears — just don’t call her JT’s rebound.

“No, I was not the rebound!” Jenna stated. “I was very clear not to be [a rebound].”

She also cleared up some rumours surrounding the story that Spears and Timberlake had a dance-off at a club following their split.

The dance-off was documented in the Britney Spears Lifetime movie, “Britney Ever After”, but according to Dewan Tatum, it never actually happened.

“Okay, so this dance-off situation is… it never happened, people!” she confirmed. “It was in tabloids and everyone thought that this happened. And I really wish I could say that that happened because that would be the coolest story in the world. It would be so awesome. I wish I could say that but no, it never happened,” she continued.
