As you probably guessed from listening, the whole “Leak”; was all just a joke, a very good joke that had twitter buzzing! The 30-year-old will perform alongside rocker Lenny Kravitz at this Sunday’s big event.

Katy Perry is ready to go colossal.

The pop star extraordinaire (with a well documented weakness for flair) has a game plan in place for how she’ll be tacking her role as this year’s Super Bowl halftime entertainment. If you’re expecting 12 minutes of super serious stripped down acoustic numbers when Katy graces the stage in Glendale, think again.

“I want to bring the humor, I want to bring the colour, I want to bring the sass and I want to bring the incredible joy. Those are the characteristics I’m working with,”; proclaimed the pop star in a chat with the Associated Press.

The “Roar”; hitmaker is also keenly aware of the time restraints in play. Bring on the medley-esque megamixes!

“I’m going to play a mash-up of songs because I can’t fit all of them in there and I’m going to play the ones that really resonate with people,”; notes Katy.

The unique gig, set to take place on February 1, features Katy following in the footsteps of fellow pop megastars like Beyoncé, Madonna and Bruno Mars. If Katy has her way, this supersized mini-concert will have the globe singing along. The arena-filling performer says she wants her tunes to be the star of the show.

“Here is my intention, is that everyone talks about the music and nothing else,”; explained the star. “Or everything else is secondary. So there’s no trying to sabotage myself. I have no other motive besides the music and to share the songs that I’ve created over the years, and especially the more familiar ones, with all of these people and make it one giant sing-along.”;

Details on the specifics for halftime have been kept hush hush, but Lenny Kravitz has been confirmed as a special guest for this major pop culture event.

ET Canada is always on the prowl for more details on the biggest entertainment spectacles the planet has to offer, so we were able to wrangle a bit more talk out of Katy on what she will and won’t pull from Beyoncé and Madonna halftime shows of yore.
