Harry Styles eponymous debut solo album is the king of the hill!
The 23-year-old’s self-titled album “Harry Styles” has soared to the top of the Billboard 200 Albums chart in its first week. The new album sold 230,000 equivalent units and 193,000 traditional album sales, according to Billboard.
This marks the second time a former One Direction star’s solo album debuted at number one — the other, of course, being Zayn Malik.
Placing second on the Top Albums chart is Zac Brown Band‘s new album “Welcome Home”, which sold 146,000 and closely followed by Kendrick Lamar’s buzzworthy album “DAMN.” in third.
Rounding out the top five is Chris Stapleton’s “From A Room: Volume 1” at number four and the “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2” soundtrack at number five.
Styles unveiled his new solo sound for the first time with his single “Sign of the Times” back in April.
