Journalist Tweets Viral Story About Mr. Rogers In Light Of The Horrific Manchester Tragedy

In early hours of Tuesday morning, while the whole world became devastated after a terrorist bombing took place at Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester, Entertainment Weekly staff writer Anthony Breznican began to tweet about Mr. [Fred] Rogers.

The infamous quote, “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping,'” from Mr. Rogers himself began Breznican’s heartfelt story about the time he met with the host of “Mister Rogers’ Neighbourhood”.

Mr. Rogers, who died 14 years ago, created a beloved children’s show that debuted 50 years ago. Breznican proves that a half century later, lessons from Fred Rogers still remain true in his viral story:
