Even more news continues to come out following the devastating events on Monday at Manchester Arena.
TMZ is reporting that Ariana Grande’s mother Joan was in the front row of the concert when the bomb went off. When the attack happened, Joan apparently helped usher several panicked concertgoers backstage to safety.
Joan was attempting to go backstage to rush to her daughter’s side and the fans in attendance were looking for an exit, so Joan took them with her.
In all of the chaos, she took more than 10 people with her backstage. Grande’s security helped the fans while they waited to be let go from the arena to safety.

Devastating news continues to come out from the attack. It has been confirmed that 22 people were killed in the bombing at the concert and 59 people were injured.
On Memorial Day, Joan Grande shared a note on Twitter. Ariana’s mom reflected on how affected she has been by the tragic event. “My heart goes out to all the victims: those who lost their lives, those injured, those recovering and all the survivors of that night,” she wrote.
